The children and youth of KALEIDOSCOPE invite you to join them
for a night of art and hors d'oeuvres a kid would enjoy!
Each young artist receives a commission from his/her piece. The proceeds from the
final auction price support programs for high-need abused and neglected children.

About the KID ART SHOW
Each summer, the children and youth at Kaleidoscope attend art classes that not only give kids a basic understanding of art, but provide Kaleidoscope kids - all recovering from abuse - the chance to express their selves, socialize with other kids and uncover some hidden talents, which builds self-esteem.
In 2003, Kaleidoscope's executive director, Tom Finnegan, decided to frame and display their art in a tiny storefront in Wicker Park during an art festival. Today, dozens of children and youth participate in the art show that hosts over 200 guests in downtown Chicago!
Northern Trust is hosting Kaleidoscope's 8th Annual KID ART SHOW & Auction at the bank's banquet hall this year. If you've never attended, this is THE night to mingle with other party guests, as well as the Kaleidoscope children and youth.
Proceeds benefit Kaleidoscope programs for high-need abused and neglected children and youth. The creation of art is healing and life-enhancing - making a difference in the lives of children recovering from abuse. Children's artworks will be on view as part of the auction. The art show features 100 works by over dozens of aspiring young artists from age four to 21.
The KID ART SHOW on Thursday, October 28th, will be guest hosted by Chris "Peter Brady" Knight and include music, cocktails, hors d'oeuvres a kid would enjoy, entertainment and artwork.
Tickets are limited and early registration is recommended!

The people who volunteer for, work for and donate to Kaleidoscope connect vulnerable children with what they need and deserve: loving families caring unconditionally so all kids have a chance to lead healthy, productive, independent and happy lives.
